General Terms & Conditions

Product Description

Understanding Faith is a series of religious educational resources available for secondary students in a range of titles. In order to purchase this resource, each school must subscribe to Understanding Faith and pay a subscription fee based on:

1. the number of titles purchased;
2. the number of students in the school.

Note: These general terms and conditions do not replace the licence agreement. Please refer to the licence agreement for full terms and conditions.

Purchasing Process

Ordering Understanding Faith is a simple process:

1. Authorised officer from the school completes the online or paper (PDF) order form, selecting the titles desired.
2. If using the paper form, it is then forwarded to Understanding Faith by fax or standard post.
3. Your Multimedia DVD is custom designed by Understanding Faith and is sent to your school. An invoice is posted separately.
4. Each school has a 30 day account with Understanding Faith.

Please note, as per the pricing schedule:

1. The price per title varies according to the size of the school and the number of titles purchased.
2. Schools purchasing the entire package of 36 titles will attract the most substantial discount.
3. Purchases arranged through a cluser, diocesan or religious orders school attract a very affordable rate per student for a bulk order.
4. Smaller dioceses and country schools can call Understanding Faith and negotiate an affordable rate to utilise the resource.

Example: A school purchases 20 titles at one time. School has a total student population of over 1000 students. Therefore, that school purchases 20 titles in the Understanding Faith series for a cost of $ 95.00 x 20 = $ 1,900.00.

Terms & Conditions

The subscription fee entitles the school to the following throughout the subscription year:

1. Unlimited use of Teacher and Student multimedia content within the purchasing school;
2. Printing of PDF files, for use by the purchasing school and its students only;
3. IT support with Understanding Faith by phone, fax and email.

You are not permitted to:

1. Sell the resource or part thereof to any individual or corporation;
2. Reproduce the resource or part thereof to any individual or corporation with the exception of uses permitted by Understanding Faith;
3. Use the resource beyond the subscription year. At the commencement of each year, a revised Understanding Faith series will be available to each school by renewing its subscription.
4. Issue passwords to students, teachers or schools who are not part of your subscription agreement.
5. Make the resource publicly available on the Internet.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All subscription fees are payable for use of this resource throughout the year 2010. Subscriptions for each title must be renewed to continue using this service in 2011 and subsequent years. Each revised edition of this resource will contain updates, including new activities, worksheets, interactive and other features.
